Maria Issaeva will discuss relationship between Russia and the European Court on Human Rights 20 years after signing the Convention

On 9 April, 2018 a panel discussion Russia and the European Court of Human Rights after 20 Years will be held at the Wilson Center's Kennan Institute in Washington, DC. Using the findings of the recent book Russia and the European Court of Human Rights: the Strasbourg Effect, Cambridge University Press, 2018 (Mälksoo and Benedek (eds)), the panel will discuss what socialization has taken place in Russia as a result of its participation in the European Convention on Human Rights.

TLA managing partner Maria Issaeva will be joined by Marina Agaltsova, Human Rights Center of the UC Berkeley School of Law, and Lauri Mälksoo, University of Tartu.
